October is here, which means the Halloween countdown is officially on. While the city has plenty of spooky events to check out, it can be hard to find something the whole family can enjoy.
Luckily, the Hangar Flight Museum is hosting a Halloween event designed for little ones, where kids can search for missing pumpkins, play bingo, and make their own flying ghosts to take home.
Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the event.
What to expect at the Haunted Pumpkin Hunt
What can I do at the Haunted Pumpkin Hunt?
Kids will have an opportunity to participate in the spooky scavenger hunt, where they’ll search the museum for missing pumpkins.
There will also be a themed bingo game and a craft activity where kids can create their own flying ghost.
Costumes are encouraged. Anyone who arrives in a clearly recognizable costume will get $3 off regular admission. If you’re going all out, you could even walk away with a prize!
The best group costume will be entered for a chance to win a family membership to the museum valued at $95. The membership includes free admission for two adults and up to four children, plus access to member events and merchandise discounts.
When is the Haunted Pumpkin Hunt?
The Haunted Pumpkin Hunt will take place from Friday, Oct. 30 to Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Where is the Haunted Pumpkin Hunt taking place?
The Haunted Pumpkin Hunt will take place at The Hangar Flight Museum in northeast Calgary. If you’re driving, free parking is available at the museum.
How much are tickets?
General admission to The Hangar Flight Museum includes the Haunted Pumpkin Hunt, so you don’t need to buy a separate ticket for the event.
Admission costs $16.19 for adults, $11.43 for seniors and students, and $8.57 for children ages 3 to 11.
There’s also a $47.86 family ticket, which includes admission for two adults and up to four children ages 17 and under. Children ages two and under get in for free.
