GENERAL AUDITIONS 2026/2027 season
Kompany Family Theatre hires professional, non-equity actors and movers. We are looking to cast performers specifically for a few upcoming projects but would love to see anyone who has a passion and interest in theatre and dance for young audiences even if the below projects don’t work with their schedule as we hire for other projects throughout the year and we are also always on the lookout for arts educators- if you have a strong wish to inspire the next generation of artists we want to hear from you!
Specific upcoming projects:
Winter Tour
Rehearsals: Nov 2-21, 2026
Performances: Nov 23-Dec 31, 2026
This can be full time performing work during the Holiday Season, but the schedule is flexible and can vary week to week.
Spring New Work Workshop
May 2027
We are looking for performers to workshop some of the scripts being developed in our TYA playwrights circle. There will be a couple days of rehearsal and then we will bring the plays into schools with kids. There may also be a larger production of a script in development.
Summer Tour 2027
Rehearsals: June 2027
Performances: July 1-Aug 31, 2026
We are looking for performers to be part of our summer tour! This can be full time performing work during the summer, but the schedule is flexible and can vary week to week.
Dance Theatre Project: We have a dance theatre project that we are continuing to develop with performance dates TBD as part of our next season. We are specifically looking for dancers who act or actors who are VERY STRONG movers.
Qualifications:
Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Theatre or equivalent experience
Desire to perform interactive, touring theatre/dance for young audiences and families
Love of working with kids of all ages
Valid Driver’s license (if you do not have a drivers license please let us know in your submission- some of the projects do not require this)
Auditions will be held on May 25th from 6-9pm.
