Fans have been anxiously anticipating what Days of Our Lives heartthrob Leo Howard‘s next move would be following his impending exit from the Peacock streaming soap opera, and now the actor’s next role has finally been revealed.
Howard will be joining the cast of the Showtime drama Yellowjackets for its fourth season in a role surrounded in mystery.
The actor will once again reunite with Liv Hewson, with whom he previously appeared in Santa Clarita Diet.

Howard recently lent his voice to the Star Wars franchise, where he played Bennic Halloren in the video game Star Wars Zero Company.
Howard began his professional acting career at a young age when he appeared in a 2005 episode of the USA Network series Monk as a “Little Karate Kid”, but transitioned to becoming a mainstay of the Disney Channel in 2009 when he joined Zeke & Luther and portrayed the main role on Leo Little’s Big Show.
He would continue to play various roles on Disney until 2015, when he began appearing on projects such as Major Crimes, Freakish, Santa Clarita Diet, Why Women Kill, and The Vampire Diaries spinoff series Legacies before joining Days of Our Lives in 2024.
Howard portrays the legacy role of Tate Black on the soap opera, the son of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley and later Emily O’Brien).
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Howard, along with his romantic co-star Ashley Puzemis and two other actors, Carson Boatman and Raven Bownes, would all be exiting the Peacock streaming soap opera; however, due to Days of Our Lives’ advance filming schedule, their exits have yet to air and are expected to take place between the end of this year and the start of next.
