Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 took place this weekend, serving not only as a home for competitive tournaments but also as a source for Dragon Ball-related announcements. We got another look at Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, learned about upcoming DLC for games like Dragon Ball Sparking: Zero, and finally saw the previously teased Age 1000 project in action as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.

If you missed the April 19 livestream or are just looking for a handy roundup of everything shown off during the event, Polygon has you covered. These are all the game and anime announcements from Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 that you should know about.

Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol

Before getting into the meat of this event’s announcements, we learned that Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol will cover Dragon Ball Super’s Universe Survival and Galactic Patrol Prisoner arcs, but not much else was revealed.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, a remake of Battle of Gods, then took center stage with its launch and Super Gekitou trailers. They gave us a look at its beautiful animation and reiterated its Japanese release window of fall 2026. Beerus voice actors Jason Douglas and Koichi Yamadera, plus Goku voice actress Masako Nozawa, shared video messages to show their excitement for the project.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3

After the Dragon Ball Super: Beerus panel, the livestream immediately transitioned to highlighting the Age 1000 project teased earlier this year. The new trailer showed more of the future in which the game takes place, revealed a new character named Brett, and confirmed that the Age 1000 project is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.

It’s set in the future, and Akira Toriyama had direct creative involvement in the game’s world and character design before he died in 2024. That includes the design of two player characters and an older, future version of Bulma. Like previous Xenoverse games, it will be an online-focused title. Dimps is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3’s developer, and it will launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X in 2027.

Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Fusion World and Card Game Masters

Fans of the physical Dragon Ball Super CCG will be happy to hear that Story Booster 01 was revealed. It contains 12 new cards across 85 card types and will hit store shelves on Aug. 21. The Impact Beyond Dimensions booster pack will launch before that in July, while the Chromatic Ascension booster pack will follow this winter.

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero‘s Games Battle Hour 2026 trailer showed off some of the new characters, costumes, super attacks, stages, and game mode coming as part of the Super Limit-Breaking Neo DLC. Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero: Super Limit-Breaking Neo launches this summer across all platforms the game is available on. An update adding a survival mode will release on April 21.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: Future Saga Chapter 4

Even though Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 was announced, its predecessor is not done yet. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Future Saga Chapter 4 will be released this summer across all platforms the game is available on. It will be the game’s final piece of DLC.

Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, Dragon Ball Legends, and Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra

The producers behind Dragon Ball’s popular mobile games appeared at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 and confirmed that each game would get its own collaboration with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 ahead of that game’s final update. Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra will host its first world championship tournament later this year, with preliminary battles starting next month.
