IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Embrassio Hotels & Resorts Private Limited, the hospitality arm of Vrindara Group, to develop Holiday Inn Mathura. The hotel is scheduled to open in early 2030.
Holiday Inn Mathura will offer 115 rooms and suites, three dining venues including an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and a lobby lounge. The property will provide meeting and event facilities across five venues, including a ballroom, as well as a fitness centre and swimming pool.
Mathura is one of India’s oldest religious centres and continues to attract visitors from across the country. The hotel is positioned to serve demand generated by spiritual tourism and the need for branded accommodation in the area.
Holiday Inn Mathura is part of IHG’s pipeline in India, which includes more than 40 Holiday Inn-branded hotels. IHG currently operates 52 hotels across six brands in India: Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express. The company has a pipeline of 98 hotels due to open in the next three to five years.
