Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in partnership with HSL Properties and Desert Hospitality Management, plans to open the Hyatt Regency Tucson Convention Center in late 2027. The property will be the first Hyatt Regency-branded hotel in Tucson.

The hotel will be located in downtown Tucson, near the Tucson Convention Center, Linda Ronstadt Music Hall, Leo Rich Theater, and Tucson Arena. The project includes a multi-million dollar transformation, introducing 291 guestrooms and suites, a fitness center, a pool area, and approximately 22,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space.

The meeting and event facilities will include a large ballroom and multiple breakout rooms designed for corporate conferences, association meetings, weddings, and social events. The addition of the Hyatt Regency brand is described as a milestone for Tucson’s hospitality and convention business.

The hotel is expected to enhance Tucson’s ability to attract group events, regional conferences, and national conventions, supporting economic growth in the region.

Additional details on the construction timeline, amenities, dining concepts, and opening celebrations will be announced as the project progresses.
