Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed an agreement with Hombale Group to develop a Gateway Hotel and Convention Centre in Kanamangala, Devanahalli, near Bengaluru Airport, Karnataka. The project is a greenfield development.
The planned property will feature 300 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a specialty restaurant, and a lounge. Recreational amenities will include a fully equipped gym and a swimming pool.
The convention center will offer banquet spaces and meeting rooms, with the largest banquet hall measuring more than 16,000 square feet, suitable for large-scale conferences and social events.
Located in North Bengaluru, the hotel is positioned in an area experiencing expansion around the airport.
With this addition, IHCL will have 20 hotels in Bengaluru, including 11 under development.
No timeline for the project’s opening or completion was provided.
