Jen Hamilton shares a healing update on her separation from her husband, Brian Hamilton.
“People are like, ‘Jen, it’s OK to take a break,'” she began in a video shared to Instagram on Saturday, June 20. “This is the only thing that feels routine to me right now. It’s just telling you whatever random thought pops into my head.”
She added, “But I also want to be able to document where I was and where I go and where I am.”
The labor and delivery nurse went on to explain that her emotions have been coming in waves, comparing the ups and downs to contractions during childbirth.
“I can wake up feeling OK, and do stuff and get stuff done and feel like a boss, and then somebody mentions something, and I’m just a puddle on the floor,” she continued. “I talked to him this morning, and he is healing and doing well.”
The beloved influencer previously opened up about her separation from her husband of 14 years, sharing that their split was amicable.
“Yes, we are separating. This comes with enormous pain for the both of us but also gratitude for the 15 years of shared history, love, and friendship. What we are committed to is loving each other well through this transition and placing the wellbeing of the family we created at the center,” she shared in a statement written with her ex. “We are hoping our paths diverging in physical location will make space and room for mental healing for the other. We are still committed to being a team.”
