About The General By Robert Morgan | Directed by Kathryn Smith
When Jainin and Jacob move to a small town they meet an old smelly crossing guard that everyone knows as the General. An unlikely friendship blossoms between the General and Jainin as she learns all he does for the community in his unique way. When the town of Bridgeport gets absorbed into the larger city of Kitchener, Jainin, leads the charge as she fights city hall to keep the children’s beloved community crossing guard. Based on a true story of Frank Groff, a crossing guard in Bridgeport, Ontario.
