In Brief: M Social Hotel Sunnyvale has announced the appointments of Jakub Skyvara as General Manager and Tina Walters as Director of Sales & Marketing, ahead of the hotel’s planned debut in Fall 2026.
M Social Hotel Sunnyvale, owned by Millennium Hotels and Resorts, is scheduled to open in the heart of Silicon Valley in Fall 2026. The hotel has appointed Jakub Skyvara as General Manager and Tina Walters as Director of Sales & Marketing.
Skyvara will oversee all hotel operations and lead the launch of M Social Hotel Sunnyvale. He brings more than two decades of global hospitality experience, including roles in North America, Europe, and Asia. Most recently, he served as General Manager of The Lodge at Torrey Pines. His previous leadership roles include positions with Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, and as Executive Assistant Manager at The Resort at Pelican Hill.
Walters brings more than 30 years of experience in hospitality, travel, and account management, with strong connections in the Silicon Valley business community. Her previous leadership positions include roles at Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Kimpton, Starwood, Hyatt Centric Santa Clara Silicon Valley, and Hyatt Place Santa Barbara. She also previously led sales and marketing efforts for The Ameswell Hotel in Mountain View.
