In Brief: Oxford Capital Group and its affiliate Oxford Hotels & Resorts have appointed Stephen Miller and David Kuperberg as senior advisors to support the expansion of their hospitality management, branding, and investment platform.
Oxford Capital Group and Oxford Hotels & Resorts have appointed Stephen Miller and David Kuperberg as senior advisors. In these roles, Miller and Kuperberg will work with Oxford principals to expand third-party hotel management relationships, support brand and licensing initiatives, and assist with deal origination, investment, and acquisition efforts.
Stephen Miller brings more than four decades of hospitality experience, including executive leadership, acquisitions, development, and asset management. He has held senior positions at Extended Stay America, Interstate Hotels, Carlson Hotels & Resorts, and Wyndham Worldwide. Most recently, Miller served as Chief Executive Officer of Avantic Lodging Enterprises prior to its sale. As senior advisor, Miller will focus on supporting Oxford’s third-party management growth, expanding capital partnerships, and assisting on acquisition opportunities. He is based in Dallas.
David Kuperberg joins Oxford with experience in hospitality brand development and platform expansion. He most recently worked at Hyatt, where he contributed to the growth of the company’s lifestyle portfolio following its acquisition of Dream Hotel Group in February 2023. Prior to the acquisition, Kuperberg was Chief Development Officer of Dream Hotel Group, leading global development efforts and later supporting integration and brand expansion within Hyatt’s portfolio. Earlier in his career, Kuperberg held senior leadership positions at Virgin Hotels and Wyndham Hotel Group. As Senior Director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Wyndham, he oversaw the acquisition of Ramada International from Marriott, a portfolio of more than 200 hotels and resorts worldwide. As senior advisor, Kuperberg will focus on expanding Oxford Hotels & Resorts’ third-party management business and supporting brand and licensing opportunities in key markets. He is based in Los Angeles.
Miller and Kuperberg will support the continued expansion of Oxford Capital Group and Oxford Hotels & Resorts’ owned and third-party management and brand-related initiatives.
