Rick Astley skyrocketed to fame in 1988 thanks to his addictive hit song “Never Gonna Give You Up.” But in 2026, the handsome Englishman is looking better than ever with a head full of gray hair.

Astley, 60, became a staple of the ’80s with “Never Gonna Give You Up.” The iconic song hit number one 1 in the United States on March 12, 1988, and stayed there for two weeks. Astley, known for his soulful voice, also had several other hit songs, including “Together Forever,” “It Would Take a Strong Strong Man,” and “She Wants to Dance With Me.” While he later took a step back from the music industry to focus on his family, he returned to the stage with a fury. And in a new concert photo from a performance from the first night of “The Reflection Tour” at The OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, the handsome singer looked better than ever with gray hair. Who doesn’t love a silver fox?

His Iconic Song Hit 1 Billion Spotify Streams Last Year

Last year, Astley’s song “Never Gonna Give You Up” joined Spotify’s “Billions Club” in June, which means it surpassed 1 billion streams on the platform.

When the singer first recorded the song, he said he had no idea how successful it would be.

“I never could have imagined back in 1987 that ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ would still be going strong decades later,” he said in a statement, according to USA Today. “Thanks to streaming platforms, a whole new generation has been able to discover music like mine. Reaching 1 billion streams is something I never dreamed of and to everyone who’s ever listened, thank you.”

What is Rickrolling?

While the song was a tremendous hit in its own right, it blew up thanks to the phenomenon of “Rickrolling” in 2007. Basically, Rickrolling means people click on a link and are unsuspectingly taken to the song’s addictive music video. If you need a refresher, here goes:
