Without an E3 to preview new games and premiere trailers, the annual video game stream event, Summer Game Fest, returns for 2026 with the usual batch of world premiere-exclusive game reveals, special guest appearances, and other surprises. (Not a surprise, though: Hideo Kojima will be there.) This year, it’s been sandwiched between a PlayStation State of Play, an Xbox showcase, and what’s looking like a surprise Nintendo Direct.
