Teen Mom OG‘s Catelynn Baltierra is officially a working mom. The reality star landed a job as an instructional aide at her children’s school district.
“Catelynn was drawn to Cros-Lex by the friendly, family-centered teachers and staff — she says every teacher her own children have had has been amazing!” the hiring announcement, which was shared via Instagram on Wednesday, September 9, read. “This year, she’s looking forward to growing within our school community and helping students reach their full potential.”
The district described Catelynn as “a birth mom and mother to three girls!”
“Outside of school, she enjoys horses and reading. She’s been with her husband since middle school — together 20 years and married for 11 — and their three girls are all part of the Cros-Lex school district too,” the announcement added.
Fans were quick to congratulate the MTV star on landing a “real job” after nearly two decades on reality TV.
Catelynn and husband Tyler Baltierra first appeared on season 1 of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant in 2009. During their episode, cameras followed the then-teenage couple throughout their pregnancy with daughter Carly. The pair ultimately decided to place their baby girl for adoption.
Following their stint on the docuseries, MTV brought them back for the spinoff, Teen Mom.
Cate and Ty later welcomed three more daughters: Nova, 11, Vaeda, 7, and Rya, 5.
