For the first time, every Stanley Kubrick film (all thirteen features and even three early shorts) have been collected into one utterly mammoth box set, all in fresh 4K restorations. The Criterion Collection’s “The Complete Kubrick” is a true treasure trove for physical media collectors and film lovers of all shapes and sizes, compiling a crash-course education on the art of cinema from one of the great masters of the medium.

Criterion has left no stone unturned in putting together this behemoth tome, with the special features worth the price tag alone. With over 25 hours of interviews, rare photographs, artwork and documents annotated by Kubrick, never-before-released screen tests with Lolita stars James Mason and Sue Lyon, the rare international version of The Shining, new commentaries from filmmaker Lee Unkrich (editor of the book Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining”) and author Michael Benson (Space Odyssey: Stanley Kubrick, Arthur C. Clarke, and the Making of a Masterpiece), and so much more, there’s an almost endless supply of rich material to pore over within this collection.

To celebrate the release of “The Complete Kubrick”, we took a look at how the community ranks all thirteen features directed by the legendary filmmaker, and what some of our members have to say about each.
