Sylvan Lake already knows how to do summer well, but many people don’t know there’s something right on the water that takes things to a whole other level. A large inflatable water park is set up right on the lake, packed with obstacles and climbing structures that are easy to spot as soon as you arrive at the beach.

It’s the perfect way to level up your usual lake day this summer.

A full obstacle course… but on water

If you’re someone who loves being out on the water, this is definitely going to be your vibe. Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash is a full-on obstacle course right on the lake, and there is a lot more going on out there than you might expect.

Think 15-foot towers, climbing walls, giant slides, balance beams, slippery bridges, and a 120-foot slippery walkway that you have to make your way across.

And that’s not all. According to the organizers, there are also a ton of unique features that set it apart from other inflatable water parks in the province. There are oversized trampolines, monkey bars, trapeze swings, bouncy domes, and floating rest areas if you need a break.

From afar, the experience might seem easy, but once you’re on it, it’s way harder than it looks, but that’s exactly what makes it so fun!

Plan your visit

The splash park reopens for the season on June 20, 2026, making it the perfect add-on if you’re heading to the lake this summer.

And the experience is relatively affordable too, with hourly rates starting at $18, day passes available for $40, and tickets can be booked at the booth when you arrive.

It is open to ages six and up, and children ages six to nine must be accompanied by an adult while on the water, so if you’re planning to bring the family, you’ll want to plan ahead.

When you get there, you will find change rooms for getting ready, and lifejackets are included for everyone, so don’t worry about bringing your own. It is also fully staffed with fully certified lifeguards to ensure you remain safe while on the water.

So if you’ve made plans to head to Sylvan Lake this summer, consider this your sign to get out on the water and try something new. It may not be your typical lake day activity, but it will make for plenty of stories later on. And with everything else going on in the town, it’s easy to turn this experience into a full-day trip.
