In Brief: Conrad and Hilton Hotels have announced plans to open new properties in Bengaluru’s airport district by 2030, signaling continued investment by global hospitality brands in India’s rapidly developing urban markets and catering to rising demand for premium lodging near major travel infrastructure.

Hilton and Kalyani Group have signed agreements for Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport, a 600-room development expected to open in 2030.

Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport will each have 300 guest rooms and will be located in the KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park.

The development will include dining venues, meeting and event spaces, wellness facilities and other amenities. The combined complex will have more than 72,000 square feet of event space.

The hotels are expected to open in 2030 and will be approximately 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport.

The agreement marks the second Conrad hotel and fourth Hilton hotel in Bengaluru. It follows the 2024 opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield, also involving Kalyani Group.

Conrad Bengaluru Airport will expand Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ presence in Bengaluru and Pune. Conrad Jaipur is under development.

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has eight properties in India, including locations in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurugram, Jaipur and Goa. Another 11 Hilton properties are under development in the country.
