Mel C recently revealed that she incorporated a beloved Spice Girls song into her wedding to Chris Dingwall in July.
“When I was married, I walked back up the aisle with my husband to ‘2 Become 1,’ played by a beautiful string quartet,” the Spice Girl confirmed in a chat with Australian radio personality, Kent Small.
“It was it was a little bit of fun, but it’s also obviously beautiful song,” she added. “I have some friends [that play in] a beautiful string quartet that I’ve worked with in the past, and they played for us on the day. So yeah, it was really really special.”
In attendance at the England ceremony were fellow Spice Girls Mel B, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell Horner.
“When there’s three Spice Girls in attendance, you know, you have very respectful,” she joked. “We satisfied everyone.”
Victoria Beckham was not in attendance as she was at the World Cup games with husband David Beckhamwho is a FIFA ambassador. However, another sweet detail that emerged from the nuptials was that Mel C’s dress was designed by Beckham herself.

Fans in the comments of the radio host’s post were absolutely loving the fact that she paid tribute to the girl group in such a sentimental way.

Mel C, who has been doing press in the UK and Australia as she returns to coaching on the Australian version of The Voice got to talking about her wedding again this week on Australian morning show, Sunrise as to whether or not she’d ever call her husband’s native Australia home.
“Because of the nature of my work, I just love traveling, and Chris is the same,” she said. “You know, it’s something we have in common. We’re so lucky we get to spend a big chunk of time in Australia at the beginning of the year, especially when I’m over filming The Voice. But yeah, we we like to move around, so it’s nice to to have both best of both worlds.”
