Fans Can't Stop Talking About the Way Justin Trudeau Looks at Katy Perry in New TikTok

Katy Perry‘s newest TikTok isn’t just getting attention for her latest single — it’s the surprise appearance by boyfriendJustin Trudeau that’s melting fans’ hearts.

On Thursday, July 9, the pop superstar shared a playful TikTok featuring the former Canadian Prime Minister, dancing along to her new song, “Watch It Burn.”

The clip opens with Perry singing directly to the camera before the beat drops and she begins hopping backward to reveal a group of friends dancing behind her. Moments later, Trudeau bounds into the frame, smiling at Perry while enthusiastically joining the fun.

“Ancient texts say that if you hop to this song you will get 1,000 years of good luck,” Perry joked in the video’s caption.

He’s way more than just a surprise cameo, of course: Trudeau has fully embraced his role as Perry’s biggest supporter. Last month, according to Billboard, he skipped Canada’s opening FIFA World Cup match to attend Perry’s appearance at the United States vs. Paraguay game, later joking on X that “sometimes supportive boyfriend duties call.”

It’s all just another milestone in the books for the couple, who have been dating since July 2025.

In June, they made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Perry’s The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris concert film.

During a Q&A, per the outlet, Perry described Trudeau as “the love of my life,” adding that, “I fly super high. Sometimes I need to be anchored. To have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole.”

Fans couldn’t get enough of the couple’s chemistry in the new TikTok.
