  • Former 200-Room Portland, OR Airport Hotel Offered for Sale With Redevelopment Options

A former Portland airport hotel at 6221 NE 82nd Ave. has been listed for sale. CBRE Hotels is representing the seller.

The property includes 200 hotel rooms and occupies more than five acres in Portland’s airport corridor. The sale is a fee-simple transaction.

The property previously operated as a full-service hotel. Existing facilities include guest rooms, meeting space, a restaurant, a commercial kitchen, back-of-house areas and a parking field.

Potential uses include renovation and reopening as a rebranded hotel, multifamily housing, workforce housing, student housing, senior housing, corporate housing, transitional housing and other group-living concepts.

The property is near Portland International Airport and Interstate 205, with access to downtown Portland, regional employment centers and transportation infrastructure.

The listing also identifies parking reconfiguration, amenity expansion, phased redevelopment and other site-planning changes as potential options. Existing restaurant, kitchen, meeting and service spaces may provide a starting point for renovation or another commercial use.

Marketing materials cite the existing improvements as a potential cost advantage compared with developing a similar property from the ground up.

The materials also reference Portland International Airport’s roughly $2 billion expansion project, planned work at Moda Center, a building permit issued in December 2025 for a Live Nation music venue in Portland, and Phil Knight’s reported $2 billion commitment to Oregon Health & Science University’s Knight Cancer Institute.
