Each year, the network that wins the broadcast rights to the Super Bowl, the No. 1 rated and most-watched single-night television broadcast in the United States each year, picks the show it most wants to draw attention to, to air in the post-Super Bowl timeslot.

This year the coved post-Super Bowl LXI spot, which will air on ABC and Disney+ on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, will go to High Potential, the No. 1 entertainment series of last season.

Here’s a tease:

High Potential’s third season was held until midseason this year, which means it will most likely premiere in early January, but will craft a special episode to air following the Super Bowl.

Starring Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, the series follows a single mom (Olson) with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective (Daniel Sunjata).

High Potential also stars Sunjata as Karadec, Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot, and Judy Reyes as Selena.

The one departure for Season 3 will be Steve Howey, who played Captain Nick Wagner. His life was in the balance in the Season 2 finale after he was shot, but the hope is that he will return in guest appearances to wrap up his storyline.

High Potential finished the 2025/2026 broadcast season as the No. 1 show in the Adults 18-49 demographic (3.35 rating) and the No. 3 show among Total Viewers (16.01 million) over 35 days of viewing on ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms.

All episodes of High Potential are currently available to stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.

Super Bowl LXI will air on ABC, ESPN and Disney+ on Feb. 14, 2027.
