IHG Hotels & Resorts and United Hospitality Management India have signed the 50-key Garner Hotel Jim Corbett in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, with an opening scheduled for Q2 2027.

Victorian Corporation will own the hotel, and United Hospitality Management India will manage it. The signing is Garner’s sixth in India.

Garner Hotel Jim Corbett will be located in Ramnagar, a gateway to Jim Corbett National Park. The property will cover approximately three acres and offer facilities and amenities for modern travelers.

The hotel is planned for a market IHG identified as a wildlife and leisure destination, citing road connectivity to cities across North India and year-round visitation to Jim Corbett.

Garner is IHG’s midscale conversion brand. The brand has reached 100 open hotels worldwide since its 2023 launch. Its model is designed for hotel conversions and includes access to IHG’s quality standards, enterprise systems and rewards ecosystem.

Garner Hotel Jim Corbett is part of IHG’s expansion in markets outside major metropolitan areas, including leisure destinations, emerging commercial centers and secondary markets. IHG cited domestic travel demand as a factor in these markets.

IHG currently has 53 hotels operating across seven brands in India: Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Vignette Collection, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express.

IHG also has a pipeline of 110 hotels in India due to open in the next three to five years.
