IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened InterContinental Taipei in partnership with Farglory Group. The property is the second InterContinental project involving the two partners, following InterContinental Kaohsiung.

The hotel is located within the Taipei Dome complex in Xinyi District. It includes 347 rooms, seven dining concepts, event spaces, an indoor pool, a fitness center and Club InterContinental. Its restaurants include venues led by chef Akira Back.

Classic Rooms start at about 38 square meters, and select rooms offer views of Taipei 101. Residential-style suites start at approximately 76 square meters and include a full kitchen, dining area and in-suite laundry.

The hotel’s design incorporates references to Taipei’s architecture, culture and collective memory, including a lobby installation and musical motifs in event spaces. The property opened as InterContinental Hotels & Resorts marks its 80th anniversary.

InterContinental Taipei joins InterContinental Kaohsiung (opened in 2021), InterContinental Taichung (opened in 2024), and InterContinental New Taipei Hot Spring (opened in 2025). InterContinental New Taipei Hot Spring was the brand’s first hot spring resort in Taiwan.

IHG and Farglory Group also recently signed the Hualien Farglory Hotel, Vignette Collection.
