Rosewood has announced plans for Rosewood Tokyo, a new hotel set within the Roppongi 5-Chome development in the heart of Tokyo. The project is a joint initiative with Mori Building Co., Ltd. and Sumitomo Realty & Development Co., Ltd. Rosewood Tokyo will be the brand’s first urban hotel in Japan, following the planned debut of Rosewood Miyakojima in 2025.

The hotel will be located within a mixed-use development integrating hospitality, residences, retail, and office space. Rosewood Tokyo will be directly connected to Roppongi Subway Station and is positioned as a central component of the development.

Rosewood Tokyo is planned to feature approximately 200 guestrooms and suites, including three-bedroom accommodations. The hotel will offer a range of dining and bar concepts inspired by Tokyo’s culinary culture. Facilities will include the Rosewood Manor Club and the Asaya wellbeing concept, which will provide an indoor pool, fitness and yoga facilities. The property will also include event spaces, such as a grand ballroom designed for international gatherings and cultural exchange.

Rosewood Tokyo is part of a broader expansion for the brand, with additional upcoming openings in Seoul, Shenzhen, the Maldives, California’s Napa Valley, and Rome.
