Rollins College-owned The Alfond Inn at Rollins has named Victor Quintero director of operations. He will oversee day-to-day operations at the Winter Park hotel, including the front office, housekeeping and guest services.
Quintero joins The Alfond Inn at Rollins from Naples Grande Beach Resort, where he served as director of rooms operations. In that role, he oversaw the rooms division and spa at the 474-room resort and led a team of more than 150 associates. During his tenure, he managed room restoration projects and improved guest satisfaction scores year over year.
Before joining Naples Grande Beach Resort, Quintero joined the opening executive team at Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences on Singer Island in Riviera Beach, Florida. He built the property’s rooms division.
Quintero previously spent 15 years at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast. He first served as director of housekeeping before becoming director of rooms. In those positions, he led more than 120 employees across the front office, bell and valet, and housekeeping departments. During his time at Hammock Beach Resort, the property earned Forbes Travel Guide Recommended status.
He began his career in Orlando, where he held roles at Loews Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando and Wyndham Orlando Resort. He also worked at Suncadia Resort in Washington state.
Quintero has more than 25 years of experience leading rooms, housekeeping and guest service teams at Florida resorts. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and is a Certified Rooms Division Manager. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
