Air Transat has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Philipsburg, Sint Maarten down to between $303 and $406 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
$303 roundtrip is Air Transat’s Eco Basic fare and doesn’t include checked luggage or carry-on. Not exactly a realistic way to travel.
$406 roundtrip is the more realistic price and includes carry-on. This is still 40% cheaper than the typical best roundtrip price between Toronto and Sint Maarten.
UPDATE: WestJet is also now showing fares in November for $282 (no luggage) to $431 roundtrip (with luggage).

How to find and book this deal
1. Start with the following Google Flights search:

– Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view.
– Explore for the cheapest dates by adjusting the trip length at the bottom.
– Look for the dates that are $330 roundtrip.
2. Go to Skyscanner or FlightHub or Kayak
3. Search for a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to Philipsburg, Sint Maarten (SXM)
– Try the same dates you found on Google Flights.
Some notes
– You may see prices that are in the $300s roundtrip. Those are Eco Budget fares without any luggage included.
– I’ve noticed that if you click through from Google Flights to Travelocity you can upgrade to Eco Standard (which includes carry-on) for $85 CAD roundtrip, and brings your total to $406 roundtrip.
– I’ve noticed that if you click through from Google Flights to BudgetAir it claims that the $306 roundtrip fare includes carry-on. I have a feeling this is not correct. I think it’s likely the Eco Budget fare without carry-on.
– If you click through to the Air Transat website the Eco Standard fare is $429 roundtrip.
