IHG Hotels & Resorts signed an agreement with Vrindam Developers Private Limited for voco Vrindavan, a 130-key hotel planned for Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. The project marks Vrindam Developers Private Limited’s entry into the hospitality sector.

voco Vrindavan will be part of a mixed-use development that will include hotel guestrooms and serviced apartments with shared amenities. The hotel will have 130 guestrooms, including 13 suites.

The property will include three dining venues: an all-day dining restaurant, a restaurant and a lobby lounge. It will also have more than 2,340 square meters of meeting and event space across six venues, including a 1,400-square-meter ballroom. Other facilities will include a swimming pool and fitness center.

Vrindavan is in the Braj region. Vrindavan and neighboring Mathura received more than 90 million visitors in 2024, compared with 79 million in 2023. Annual arrivals are expected to reach 110 million to 140 million over the next decade.

Connectivity to Delhi NCR, Agra and Mathura, along with infrastructure projects including the Banke Bihari Corridor and improved expressway links, is expected to support visitor growth.

The development will strengthen IHG’s presence in the Braj region, alongside an upcoming Holiday Inn Express in Mathura.

IHG has 53 open hotels across seven brands in India: Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Vignette Collection, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express. The company has a pipeline of 110 hotels due to open in the next three to five years.
