Where to find redjade ginseng in Arknights: Endfield

You’ll need to find redjade ginseng in Arknights: Endfield in order to make some of the recipes needed for the “Supply: Wuling Super Chef” event. To complete this event and get all the rewards, you just need to bring some prepared food to the Competition Host NPC in Wuling City.

To unlock two of these recipes (Fortifying Infusion and Ginseng Meat Stew), you’ll need to harvest redjade ginseng. Harvesting one ginseng will unlock the recipe for Fortifying Infusion, while harvesting 50 will unlock the recipe for Ginseng Meat Stew.

Before you set off, you should know that you can buy both Fortifying Infusion and Ginseng Meat Stew for 3,000 and 10,000 Wuling Stock Bills respectively from Tian Ah Zai, an NPC just west of the Competition Host NPC on Fangxing Avenue. Ju Mei, an NPC to the east of the Competition Host on the same street, sells Garden Stir-Fry, the other event dish that uses redjade ginseng.

Where to find redjade ginseng in Arknights: Endfield

You can find redjade ginseng scattered around in Wuling, but there are two areas where you can find five harvestable ginseng bunches. Each node you harvest gives you two redjade ginseng.

The first area is in the Cloudrest Woods, which is west of the Marker Stone sub-PAC. You can find two bunches of ginseng along the path, and three more up on the cliff:

This second location is a little trickier, just because you need to progress in the recently added “Spring’s Return 1” urgent story mission. Doing this will unlock the Test Area zone, but you’ll also need to craft some Heavy Liquid Xiranite to blast away corruption in the area to proceed. Once you do that, you can find five more gatherable ginseng in the northern part of the Test Area map:

If you harvested all of that, you’ll have 20 ginseng total, which is enough to unlock the Fortifying Infusion recipe, but not the Ginseng Meat Stew. You can either revisit these spots in coming days to collect the remaining 30 needed for the second recipe, or you can opt to plant your existing ginseng to grow more, if you don’t want to have to run back to these areas.

How to grow redjade ginseng in Arknights: Endfield

If you want to grow the ginseng yourself, you’ll need to place a seed-picking unit on one of your bases and shove the redjade ginseng inside. For each ginseng you put into the unit, you’ll get two seeds.

Once that’s all processed, grab your seeds, and open your backpack. Select the “crafting” button above your inventory, select “planting” and craft redjade ginseng plots. It takes one seed and one carbon to make one plot.

With your plots in hand, head over to Agricultural Test Site (northeast of your Core AIC Area in Wuling City), to place them down. Germinate and water the plots, and your redjade ginseng will be ready to harvest in four hours. You can continue to water and germinate the plots to get more ginseng from each plot.
