July has arrived, Edmonton, and we’ve got so many things to do in the city.

Whether it’s a festival, a charming event, a musical, or something intimate for you and a loved one, there’s a wide variety of things to do in the list ahead. There are Edmonton classics and new experiences, everything you’d possibly want for this summer. Trust me, all of these events are well worth your while, so don’t have any worries.

Let’s get into what Edmonton’s brewing this July.

If you aren’t familiar with the group, the Edmonton Pops Orchestra works to combine music, dance, and storytelling to create dynamic and intimate concert experiences for folks across Edmonton. This summer, they’re bringing Something Rotten!, a musical comedy, to Hawrelak Park.

When: Now until Sunday, July 12, 2026
Time: 1:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Where: Hawrelak Park — 330 Groat Rd. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $50

If you aren’t familiar with this summer tradition, this art walk takes over the heart of Edmonton, Old Strathcona, every year. It’s actually Alberta’s largest and oldest non-juried arts festival. According to its website, it’s also the first art walk in Edmonton.

When: Friday, July 10, to Sunday, July 12, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Whyte Avenue, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

ECAMP Curiosity Tours are back this summer with fresh ways to explore the stories that shaped Edmonton. This year’s lineup includes the Labour History Tour and the Children of the Flats, each offering a different perspective on the people, places and lived experience that helped build the city we know today.

New this summer is a tour centred around the Edmonton Commonwealth Walkway, highlighting the river valley in collaboration with EHC’s Commonwealth Walkway app. It’s an easy way to explore the city at your own pace while learning more about Edmonton’s history and landscape along the way.

When: Tours will take place every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with Tour topics alternating weekly.
Time: Thursdays: noon to 1 p.m.; Fridays: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.; Saturdays: 10 a.m. to noon
Where: July 21: Royal Glenora Club Parking Lot; Aug. 11: Royal Glenora Club Parking Lot; Sept. 1: 100th St. Funicular, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

This is the second year of Rockin’ Thunder in Edmonton, bringing even bigger rock names to the stage. With Creed and Three Days Grace, you can expect to be headbanging all night.

When: Saturday, July 11, to Sunday, July 12, 2026
Time: Various times
Where: Exhibition Lands Racetrack, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $286+

Neon Skies Festival is Edmonton’s newest pop music festival, being held right in the middle of the city — in ICE District’s Fan Park. This will be the festival’s first year, its inaugural two-night party, held this summer in July. You can anticipate big names like legendary pop star Ke$ha and the talented Conan Gray as your headliners.

When: Friday, July 17, 2026 and Saturday, July 18, 2026
Time: Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Where: Fan Park in the ICE District — 10104 104th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $129.95+

Making its way around to Edmonton once again is the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival. With huge names coming up this season, you’re going to be laughing your head off all night long.

When: Friday, July 17, to Sunday, July 19, 2026
Time: Various set times
Where: Kinsmen Park, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $39+

KDays is Edmonton’s annual summer festival, taking over the city with games, concerts, and fun all around. If you’re ready to spend a day, or maybe even a couple, at the fairgrounds, we’ll see you there. This is an Edmonton classic for a reason.

When: Friday, July 17, to Sunday, July 26, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Edmonton Expo Centre and Exhibition Grounds — 515 118th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $15.45+

Complete with live music, local food vendors, and breweries, as well as the magic of exotic and wild animals, Zoobrew transforms the family-friendly atmosphere of the local Valley Zoo into an ultra-fun escape. With over 25 breweries, wineries, and distilleries, you’ll be sipping all night long.

When: Saturday, July 18, 2026
Time: 5 to 11 p.m.
Where: Edmonton Valley Zoo — 13315 Buena Vista Rd. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $33.50

You’ll be guided through a unique eco-dyeing experience where you’ll learn about the history of botanical dyeing while making your own beautiful creation.

When: Sunday, July 19, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: 51553 Range Rd 225A, Sherwood Park, Alta.
Cost: $70

As part of the recently announced extended tour, The Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2, Post Malone is making a couple of stops in Canada. Lucky us, because one of those stops happens to be right here in Edmonton. This stadium tour is coming all the way to the Commonwealth in the city, and the city is just buzzing with anticipation.

When: Friday, July 24, 2026
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Commonwealth Stadium —  11000 Stadium Rd. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $120+
