Another week is ahead of us, Edmonton, and we’ve got all the best things to do during it.

There are more than a few events and festivals starting this week, and I couldn’t be more excited. Whether it’s a music festival, an escape room, a movie night, or a farmers market, this list is packed full of activities, and we’re certain you’ll find one that matches the vibe.

Without further ado, let’s hop into things!

If you’re familiar with Fort Edmonton Park‘s Where Dark Things Dwell, its highly anticipated sequel has just arrived.

Teams of four will work together in this escape “room” experience to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and complete challenges throughout the park’s 1885 Street, racing to break a mysterious curse before time runs out.

When: Now until Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026
Time: 6 and 8:30 p.m.
Where: Fort Edmonton Park — 7000 143rd St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $35

The summer brings back the best deals at the Metro. It started on June 2, and it’ll last throughout the summer, meaning $5 Tuesdays are officially back at the theatre.

When: Every Tuesday now until the end of August
Time: Various showtimes
Where: 8712 109th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $5

The NASCAR NAPA 300 returns to the Edmonton International Raceway in Wetaskiwin on July 25, delivering high-speed racing action and an electric trackside atmosphere. This premier motorsports event features top stock car drivers competing on Western Canada’s only NASCAR-sanctioned oval track. Spectators can enjoy full race-day programming, fan experiences, and concessions, making it a must-attend summer event for racing fans and visitors seeking high-energy entertainment in Central Alberta.

When: Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, 2026

Where: 244047A Township Rd. 464, Wetaskiwin, Alta.
Cost: $60+

Located at Salisbury Greenhouse in Sherwood Park, this market comes around every Thursday, rain or shine. You can find a wide variety of offerings here, no matter if it’s food, trinkets, or something entirely different.

When: Every Thursday
Time: 4 to 7 p.m.
Where: 52337 Range Rd. 232, Sherwood Park, Alta.
Cost: Free

124th Grand Market takes over the streets on Thursdays. Each week, there is a selection of over 60 rotating vendors with fresh produce, handmade goods, and trinkets, as well as food trucks that are going to satisfy your taste buds in every way.

When: Every Thursday now until Oct. 18, 2026
Time: 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: 108th Avenue and 124th Street, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

All aboard the High-Level Streetcar for the Street Car Cask series, where folks hop aboard the historic streetcar and take sips from exclusive brews — made just for these trips. As you experience a scenic ride above Edmonton, you’ll be able to enjoy the brews from Alberta’s finest.

When: Every Thursday
Time: 6 and 7:20 p.m.
Where: 10910 100th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $63.10+

This singer is on his Cold Beer and Country Music Tour, and trust us, you won’t want to miss this show.

When: Thursday, July 16, 2026
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: Rogers Place — 10220 104th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $101+

Neon Skies Festival is Edmonton’s newest pop music festival, being held right in the middle of the city — in ICE District’s Fan Park. This will be the festival’s first year, its inaugural two-night party, held this summer in July. You can anticipate big names like legendary pop star Kesha and the talented Conan Gray as your headliners.

When: Friday, July 17, and Saturday, July 18, 2026
Time: Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Where: Fan Park in the ICE District — 10104 104th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $129.95+

Making its way around to Edmonton once again is the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival. With huge names coming up this season, you’re going to be laughing your head off all night long.

When: Friday, July 17, to Sunday, July 19, 2026

Where: Kinsmen Park, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $39+

KDays is Edmonton’s annual summer festival, taking over the city with games, concerts, and fun all around. If you’re ready to spend a day, or maybe even a couple, at the fairgrounds, we’ll see you there. This is an Edmonton classic for a reason.

When: Friday, July 17, to Sunday, July 26, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Where: Edmonton Expo Centre and Exhibition Grounds — 515 118th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
