And just like that, it’s another long weekend. However you spend your Thanksgiving weekend, you’ll have plenty to do in Toronto. Luckily for you, we’ve compiled a list of a few things you need to check out.

Here are 10 of the best things to do in Toronto this long weekend.

“Discover the haunted history of the Museum as you walk through the very halls where ghosts are said to roam,” shares the ROM. “Uncover eerie tales, hear ghostly whispers, and explore hidden corners where shadows play tricks on the mind. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore the supernatural side of art, culture, and nature.”

When: Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026 to Monday, Oct. 12, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. all three days, and 1:30 p.m. only on Saturday and Sunday
Where: Level 1, Gloria Chen Court, ROM – 100 Queen’s Park
Cost: $5 plus regular admission

The ultimate fall festival is taking over Downsview Park over Thanksgiving weekend. Families will have the chance to enjoy:

  • Outdoor event
  • Unlimited jumping castles
  • Unlimited midway rides
  • Inflatable corn maze
  • Autumn-themed photo ops
  • Stage shows and entertainment
  • Carnival games with prizes
  • Rock wall and spider jump

Saturday brunch plans are here! Chotto Matte has launched a new brunch experience featuring a decadent menu, catering to both sweet and savoury profiles.

The menu includes eats such as the Millionaire Loaded Tots, which are piled high with truffle Parmesan, glazed bacon and guacamole; Nikkei Avocado Toast brightened with shichimi, feta and pickled onion; and Buttermilk Pancakes topped with maple-glazed plantain and blueberries.

The new Shibuya Toast is also a mouthwatering addition. It’s a thick toast with cinnamon-honey butter, custard cream and caramelized banana, finished tableside with a flash of flame.

Need Thanksgiving plans? Make your way to the Woodbridge Fairgrounds for some fun at the Woodbridge Fall Fair. Expect a petting zoo, midway carnival rides, and even pumpkin carving.

Time: Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thanksgiving Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The fall harvest is making its bountiful return to Toronto’s waterfront for the Thanksgiving long weekend.

Expect local vendors, harvest-inspired foods, tasty drinks and a ton of activities.

Running every October for the past decade, the event transforms the hilltop castle-mansion into a spooky maze plucked straight from your nightmares.

The hour-long loop runs through the property’s extensive gardens and eerie-on-the-best-of-days tunnels, which are packed with ghoulish scenes and scare actors poised and ready to pounce when you least expect it.

When: Oct. 7 to 11, then every day from Oct. 14 to Oct. 31
Time: Legends of Horror – Family Hours from Friday to Sunday at 5:30, 6 and 6:30 p.m.; Regular hours starting at 7 p.m.
Where: Casa Loma – 1 Austin Terr.

Harry’s Charbroiled Burgers and Boxcar Social are teaming up for a limited-time breakfast collab, exclusively at Waterworks Food Hall.

The menu includes vegetarian, bacon and burger breakfast sandwiches, plus a feature sandwich, with pricing starting at $14.50. Enjoy coffee combos, crispy hash browns, and cookies too.

The fall season is slowly starting to creep in, Toronto. That means crisp morning air, hues of orange and red, and lots — and I mean LOTS — of pumpkins. Halloween Nights of Lights and Pumpkinville returns this month and is set to illuminate the night sky with over 1.5 million dazzling lights, midway rides, seasonal eats, and more than 15,000 real pumpkins.

When: Select dates until Nov. 1, 2026
Time: Thursday from 5 to 11 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight, Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.

Halloween Haunt is back at Canada’s Wonderland with unforgettable thrills like The Conjuring: Beyond Fear immersive attraction and horrifying mazes. “Face your fears in terrifying scare zones and haunted mazes, encounter hundreds of monsters, enjoy thrilling night rides and sinister live shows,” shares CW.

When: Select nights until Nov. 1, 2026
Time: 6 p.m. to late
Where: 1 Canada’s Wonderland Dr., Vaughan, Ont.
Cost: Tickets start at $45 plus applicable taxes and fees

All 10 of the Toronto History Museums have free admission at all times.
