Here’s to another wonderful week in the city! There are tons of things to do in Toronto this week, which is enough to convince you that an outing is needed.

Want to know what’s going on in the city? Here are 10 of the best things to do this week in Toronto.

Are you the type of person who knows absolutely everything? Maybe you’re a trivia pro! If you are, make your way to Snakes and Lattes on May 19 for an evening of general knowledge fun.

Cost: $12+

LA Notte brings the best of a night out — drinks and good eats paired with live music. Juno award-winning artist Sean Jones is taking up a live music residency at Primadonna, performing on Thursdays. Tickets for the experience start at $25, but if you want dinner, which of course you do, prix fixe eats start at $65. Reservations can be made online.

When: Thursdays (May 28, 2026)

Fashion Art Toronto returns May 25–31 with a seven-day city-wide Fashion Week featuring 50+ designers, runway shows, installations, shopping, nightlife, and offsite events across Toronto. This season transforms some of the city’s most iconic locations — including the former Hudson’s Bay flagship — into immersive fashion destinations, bringing together contemporary fashion, streetwear, performance, art, and culture in one of the largest Fashion Weeks in Canada.

When: Monday, May 25 to Sunday, May 31, 2026

Cost: Free/Select ticketed events $30

If you’re in your Green Thumb era, this is the event for you. Expect a selection of cuttings and seeds for you to take. You can also bring your own plants and seedlings that may be overwhelming you at the moment. Share and learn tips and tricks on how to take care of your new plant buddies, too.

Dear Ela Vintage will have planters for purchase, and there will also be a craft table to decorate some signage for your new plants and seeds.

Drop in whenever and see what this experience has to offer.

Down for some trivia? Head to The Fortunate Fox for what organizers claim is “hours of pop culture mayhem, hosted by the QE team.” Expect high energy, high BPM, and zero boring questions.

Where: The Fortunate Fox, 280 Bloor St. W.

Following a successful activation in Vancouver a few months ago, Shein is celebrating its Summer 2026 edition by taking over the massive lot at 341 Queen St.

It’s where the former Zara Queen West location once stood. Shoppers can check the wide selection of summer finds starting Thursday, May 28, to Sunday, May 31.

When: Thursday, May 28 to Sunday, May 31, 2026
Time: Thursday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 341 Queen St. W., Toronto, Ont. (former Zara Queen West location)

According to a press release, the exhibition will feature a curated selection of iconic works spanning the artist’s career and lasting cultural impact.

The showcase will bring together works produced posthumously over the past 25 years by the estate. These include the newest release, King Alphonso, 1982/2025.

This work is a limited-edition screenprint of 60 pieces and reflects recurring themes found throughout Basquiat’s career, which include power, identity, race, and mythology.

When: Thursday, May 28 to Thursday, June 11, 2026
Time: 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Taglialatella Galleries — 99 Yorkville Ave.

With multiple shows in Toronto, Bruno Mars can’t deny his love for the city. Unfortunately, the first night of The Romantic Tour was cancelled due to weather. It has since been rescheduled to Sunday, May 31, 2026. Tickets are still available for his upcoming shows.

When: May 27, 28, 30 and 31 2026

Where: Pedestrian access located at 105 Carl Hall Rd.

Now until May 30, 2026, Bar Reyna Yorkville is celebrating its 10th anniversary, offering guests 10 percent off their bill.

Other specials during the month include a special anniversary cocktail, a birthday party on May 26 and Reyna’s Unapologetic Drag Brunch on May 31, 2026

Another immersive experience is in Toronto, and this time it’s brought a vibrant, dreamlike world to life. Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience will feature over 300 of Monet’s creations, transforming them into interactive works of art.
