110-Room Holiday Inn Express to Open in Surat, India in 2029

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Yashvi Greenco LLP to develop Holiday Inn Express Surat Gauravpath, scheduled to open in 2029. The 110-room hotel will be located in Surat, Gujarat, marking IHG’s first signing in the city.

The hotel will be part of a mixed-use development in the Gauravpath corridor, a rapidly expanding area within Surat known for its industrial base and infrastructure development. The property is intended to serve the city’s corporate, small- and medium-enterprise, and transit demand.

Holiday Inn Express is IHG’s largest brand globally, with more than 3,200 hotels. The brand’s Generation 5 design features flexible workspaces and updated aesthetics for both business and leisure stays.

IHG currently operates 51 hotels across six brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express. The company has a pipeline of 89 hotels planned for India over the next three to five years.
