2 New Monster Energy Drinks Arrive in Limited-Edition ‘Epic’ Cans

Monster Energy’s lineup for summer 2026 is bursting with new looks and flavors.

Ahead of the 250th anniversary of Independence Day, the California-based energy drink company announced it’s celebrating the milestone by launching nostalgic, limited-edition “epic” cans and a new variety pack.

“Happy Birthday USA,” Monster Energy’s chief marketing officer of the Americas,  Jordi Gayola, shared in a statement. “We wanted to create some new flavors in epic cans everyone can raise to you in honor of 250 incredible years… here’s to 250 more!”

According to Monday’s release, the new flavors include a new Juice Monster flavor and the return of the newest Monster Ultra (which only launched earlier this year). Both will be decked out in patriotic packaging for summer 2026, along with a red, white, and blue-themed 12-can variety pack.

The new Juice Monster flavor pays homage to a classic summertime favorite: Strawberry Lemonade. It features a “fruit-forward flavor,” according to an official description.

The brand said it’s packed in a can that screams “U.S.A! U.S.A!” with an all-American design that includes flag-bearing monster trucks, Lady Liberty, and “a jacked George Washington cruising on a throttle-heavy hog.” It features 160 milligrams of caffeine and is made with real fruit juice.

The popular energy drink brand is also bringing back a limited-time flavor that fans called a “Top 5 favorite” when it first launched in January of this year: Monster Ultra Red, White and Blue Razz.

It will be available as a summer special in a limited-edition slimline 12-ounce can wrapped in Stars and Stripes to salute America’s 250th with images of national monuments, iconic landmarks, and epic moments, per the brand. The returning favorite is made with zero sugar, 160 milligrams of caffeine and 10 calories per serving. It’s said to taste like “a cold rocket pop on a hot July Fourth day.”

And last, but certainly not least, Monster revealed three of its fan-favorite Ultra flavors will also be available in a new variety pack.

The limited-edition Liberty 12-Pack includes a mix of red, white, and blue-themed flavors, featuring four of each: Ultra Punk Punch, the original white Monster Ultra, and Ultra Blue Hawaiian. All three cans included in the pack feature their original packaging, contain 160 milligrams of caffeine, and have zero sugar.
