2010s Death Metal Band Announces Off-Show Ahead of New Tour

Nekrogoblikon, the goblin-themed death metal band that rose to fame in the 2010s, has surprised fans with a special off-show announcement just weeks before launching another major North American tour. 

The band shared the news directly with fans on Instagram, confirming a one-night-only performance in Tennessee that will take place alongside their already packed 2026 tour schedule.

In the post, Nekrogoblikon wrote: “CHATTANOOGA, TN! We’ll be playing an off-show from the Hanabie tour at Barrelhouse Ballroom on March 25th and tickets are available RIGHT NOW!” 

The announcement immediately caught attention, as March 25 is notably a night when Nekrogoblikon is not scheduled to appear on the official HANABIE. tour lineup.

The Chattanooga performance at Barrelhouse Ballroom falls in the middle of Nekrogoblikon’s run as a support act on HANABIE.’s 2026 North American headlining tour, which also features Enterprise Earth. 

On March 25, HANABIE. is scheduled to play Orlando, Florida, a date that does not include Nekrogoblikon, making the Tennessee off-show a strategic and fan-focused addition.

Rather than taking the night off, the band chose to use the gap to deliver another dose of their high-energy live show. This move follows a clear pattern from Nekrogoblikon, who have been using off-days to add extra concerts whenever possible. Similar off-date shows were announced in late 2025 with Enterprise Earth in cities like Norfolk, Fort Wayne and Sauget.

Nekrogoblikon enters 2026 riding strong momentum built over the past few years. Their most recent full-length album, The Fundamental Slimes and Humours, was released in 2022 and continues to fuel their live sets. 

Songs like “This Is It” remain crowd favorites, while newer singles such as “Show Me Your Goblin” and “Fiend” have kept fans engaged through 2025 and into early 2026.

Although no new album has been released yet this year, the band has stayed highly visible through touring, music videos and social media updates. Their current support slot on HANABIE.’s tour includes dozens of dates across the U.S. and Canada, beginning March 13 in Boston and running through April 11 in Los Angeles.

Some key stops on the tour include Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit and San Francisco. Alongside touring clubs and theaters, Nekrogoblikon has also been added to major festivals such as Welcome to Rockville 2026, further cementing their place in the modern metal scene.

With tickets already on sale and the band in peak touring form, the March 25 Barrelhouse Ballroom show is shaping up to be a must-see event for goblin metal fans in Tennessee and nearby states.
