Machine Investment Group, in a joint venture with Lionshead Capital Partners, has acquired the Atlanta Airport Marriott, a 16-story, 641-room hotel on a 16-acre parcel near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. White Label Asset Management will serve as asset manager for the property.

The hotel features 30,178 square feet of dedicated indoor meeting space, including a 9,928-square-foot ballroom, multiple food and beverage outlets, an indoor/outdoor pool complex, a fitness center, and six pickleball courts. It is one of the largest hotels serving the Atlanta airport market in both key count and meeting and event space.

Located five minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the hotel benefits from proximity to major corporate employers. The acquisition comes as the airport continues an $11.5 billion expansion program.

Machine Investment Group and Lionshead Capital Partners plan a comprehensive capital improvement program for the property, including updates to the exterior façade and arrival area, guestrooms, meeting and event facilities, food and beverage outlets, and technology infrastructure. Guestrooms were last renovated in 2017.

The sale was arranged by William Hodges and Michael Tormey of Hodges Ward Elliott.
