Both Tanba and Kurogane have a very specific and surreal task in their Dandelion division: to find spirits on Earth who are unable to pass to the afterlife due to past regrets. The two are different in personality — Tanba is deeply compassionate, and Kurogane is more forceful — but together they listen to the deceased souls and help provide closure, allowing them to pass on to the afterlife peacefully.
Dandelion is directed by Daisuke Mataga, who is best know for working on Ergo Proxy (2006) and Code Geass: Lolouch of the Re;Surrection (2019).
