Who Is Rob Rausch? All About 'The Traitors' and 'Love Island' Star

“I honestly think I’ll make a good Traitor,” Rob Rausch warned the world in the first episode of The Traitors Season 4. “I’m hard to read. I’ve been told that by every girl I’ve ever dated.”

The Love Island USA alum is winning hearts (and chess matches) left and right on the Peacock reality competition series, and it’s easy to see why: He’s gorgeous, he’s got Southern charm and he’s smarter than he seems, to a degree that unnerved even Michael Rapaport (which, to be honest, isn’t that hard, but still).

“I’m just a guy from Alabama,” Rausch said on the show. “I catch snakes. I post videos on the internet. I’m kind of quiet, but I think that’s one of my biggest strengths. When people underestimate you, that’s when you catch them by surprise.”

How did Rob Rausch get famous?

Rausch grew up in Florence, Alabama.

He developed a significant social media following as a snake wrangler, which, if you have ophidiophobia (like this writer, hello), is terrifying. He got even more famous, however, after starring in Love Island USA Seasons 5 and 6.

He admitted that being on The Traitors was a bit of a big jump from the reality dating series he was on previously.

“It’s just weird being here. I’m used to Love Island,” he deadpanned in his signature deep drawl. “It’s weird to be wearing clothes. I haven’t made out with anybody yet. It’s pretty crazy.”

Who did Rob Rausch sleep with on Love Island?

Rausch was, for obvious reasons, a pretty hot ticket on Love Island Season 6. While we don’t know the specifics of their intimacy (and it’s not our business), he coupled up with Leah Kateb, Kassy Castillo, Olivia “Liv” Walker, Cassidy Laudano, Andrea Carmona and Daniela Ortiz-Rivera.

Is Rob Rausch in a relationship?

Rausch hasn’t been publicly linked to anyone since leaving the villa in Love Island USA Season 6. He did have a brief reunion with Carmona at an event (when neither knew the other would be in attendance), TMZ reported, but it was platonic.

“Andrea was surprised to see Rob, but with all the curveballs that have been thrown at her, she was just happy to see him,” a source said at the time. “She has nothing but positive feelings towards him.”

Who is Rob Rausch’s ex-girlfriend?

Anna Fay Frost Watson previously dated Rausch, according to her Instagram. They’ve been apart for a while, as the below photo is from 2018 and she’s married to someone else, so please, for the love of Pete, do not harass this poor lady!

Does Rob Rausch live in a trailer?

Happily so, in fact.

Rausch lives in a trailer largely because it’s what he’s used to (he grew up in “a trailer very similar to this” with his parents, brother and two sisters), and because he’d rather enjoy the land than luxuriating a McMansion. To this day, you’ll still find him making furniture out of wood he sources locally, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle (complete with snake designs, of course), shooting guns in his pond, throws rocks at a bell, plays trumpet and more. He also cares for cattle and other animals on the property (and, yes, wrangles a lot of snakes).

“I think if I bought a house, I’d be like, ‘Damn, I wish I was on the land,’ you know?” he said in a video giving a tour of his property.

The mobile home has a bedroom each for him and his father, who he said “comes and goes,” as well as a bathroom (complete with traps for the mice that often invade it), a living room and a small kitchen. The home has no TV or Internet, but he says, “Sometimes I do watch Netflix on my phone.”

Rausch’s family lives in a house they purchased somewhat recently not far from the trailer where he was raised, but he opted to stay put.

Rausch’s trailer also has a carport over it, which he said is key for bad weather. He explained, “For anybody that’s looking to get a trailer, I highly recommend getting a carport to put over the trailer, because when it rains, it can get real messy.”

What movie is Rob Rausch in?

Rausch has appeared in a few the Amazon Prime Video romcom Maintenance Required (2025) as himself. The film stars Riverdale alum Madeline Petsch and Jacob Scipio and features comediansJim Gaffigan and Matteo Lane among the ensemble cast.
