Dunamis Hospitality and Eternam acquire 9 hotels in France

French owner-operator Dunamis Hospitality, together with French investment firm Eternam, has acquired a portfolio of nine budget hotels (630 rooms) in the north west of France. The transaction was structured as a club deal through a French Professional Private Equity Fund (FPCI). The properties are primarily operated under the Ibis Budget and Ibis Styles brands and are located in the Normandy and Hauts-de-France regions (Deauville, Cabourg, Le Havre, Rouen, Fécamp, Abbeville, Berck-sur-Mer, Le Tréport). Dunamis and Eternam plan to renovate the hotels to enhance both the customer experience and energy performance. 

ME Asset Management acquires Premier Inn Swansea Waterfront in the UK

British property investment firm ME Asset Management, through its subsidiary ME Swansea, has acquired the three-star, 132-room Premier Inn Swansea Waterfront in Wales in the UK. The hotel includes a restaurant and is situated by Swansea’s marina, a 15-minute walk from the city centre. It is leased to British owner-operator Whitbread with a remaining lease term of 10 years. ME Asset Management obtained a £9.6m senior loan from British real estate lender ASK Partners and intends to carry out a façade restoration as part of a broader refurbishment program. 

Sandaya Group acquires Hôtel Les Grenettes in France

French campsite owner-operator Sandaya Group has acquired the four-star, 49-room Hôtel Les Grenettes and a 210-pitch camp site in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, France. The property is located by Grenettes Beach on the Île de Ré, west of La Rochelle on the west coast of France. The site includes two outdoor swimming pools and a restaurant. Sandaya plans to invest €2.2 million into the infrastructure and rental equipment by 2027. This is Sandaya’s first hotel acquisition.
