Calgary is home to over 20 tobogganing hills, and with the upcoming snowfall this weekend, it’s the perfect time to seize the day.

According to the Weather Network, the city is expected to see up to 30 cm of snow over the course of the next few days.

So why not hit some of Calgary’s best hills for tobogganing? We’ve compiled our favourites, ranging from family-friendly slopes to steeper hills for those who enjoy more of a thrill.

While Confederation Park is known for its gorgeous scenery, it also has a range of hills varying in height, making it the perfect spot for riders of all levels to enjoy.

Located in northeast Calgary, this hill becomes increasingly popular after some fresh snow hits the ground. This slope is widespread, which gives riders plenty of room to sled safely, making it the perfect family-friendly hill.

According to the city of Calgary website, tobogganing at night is not allowed.
