The first Indian theatrical releases of 2026 made their way onto Netflix in February.

Additionally, Netflix India dropped two gripping Originals: Season 2 of the Punjabi crime thriller Kohrra and the Hindi psychological drama Accused, a rare Netflix India title that deals with LGBTQ themes.

He marries a wealthy woman named Charulatha, but it turns out she wasn’t being completely honest, either. Fights ensue, someone gets possessed, and a rival politician uses the chance to score points ahead of the upcoming election. This is not Jeevarathnam’s day. More than its grand scale and opulent staging, Padmaavat is unfortunately best-remembered for the false rumors about its story pre-release that led threats of violence against Bhansali and Padukone.
