Who’s ready for a full weekend of St. Patrick’s Day festivities, global wines, comedy shows, and action on the ice? Here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this weekend (March 13-15).

This year’s BC Home + Garden Show is back this coming week, complete with over 400 booths to explore. The marketplace offers shoppers the chance to explore a variety of home-related products and services, from garden projects to kitchen appliances, and there will be industry experts in attendance to answer all your queries.

When: Thursday, March 12 to Sunday, March 15, 2026

In addition to the last few days of Vancouver Cocktail Week, lovers of fine sips will find global wines from 112 wineries at this year’s Vancouver International Wine Festival, which has been voted the “#1 Food, Wine & Hospitality Event in Canada” for eight years straight! International tastings are a great opportunity to try a broad selection of wines of all kinds and connect with the people and communities behind them.

Kick off your Saint Patrick’s weekend at the biggest “Ceilidh” west of the Rockies hosted by Blackthorn, Vancouver’s longest-running Celtic Band, on Friday, March 13, 2026. Special guests at the event include White Spot Pipe Band, O’Brien Irish Dance, and Shot of Scotch Vancouver Company, so bring your best dancing shoes!

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, CelticFest Live is taking over the Hollywood Theatre for another night of Celtic rock and dancing, this time with The Whiskey Dicks.

Finally, on Sunday, March 15, 2026, it’s Celtic Family Day from noon to 5 p.m., complete with crafts, live music, Irish dancing, and a local artisan market.

Known for blending crowd work, stand-up, and musical comedy, Jay is no beginner when it comes to creating an unforgettable show.

Cheer on the Canucks as they face off against the Seattle Kraken at Rogers Arena this Saturday.

This Saturday (and every Saturday this March), Italian Kitchen invites pasta lovers to indulge in a handmade pasta-making workshop that gets them hands-on experience with their pasta dish of choice, be it gnocchi, ravioli du dauphine, fettuccine, or spaghetti. Each ticket includes a glass of Mionetto Prosecco or a non-alcoholic cocktail, a choice of red or white wine with dinner, an Italian Kitchen–branded apron, and a pasta cutter wheel to take home.

After the workshop, you’ll get to enjoy an exclusive dinner featuring a Pasta Tower showcasing your creations.
