It’s officially spring, and that means that a ton of exciting events (new and returning) are coming up. From Canada’s first vegan night market to Science World After Dark, to the first day of Vancouver’s Cherry Blossom Fest, here are 10 of the best things to do in and around Vancouver this week (March 23-27).

Cheer on the Canucks as they face off against the Anaheim Ducks this Tuesday, kicking off the week with what is sure to be some exciting action on the ice.

Vancouver’s beloved Vegan Night Market is officially back this week! As the only one of its kind in Canada, visitors can expect some of the best food, drinks, and community vibes the city has to offer, and you can rest assured that everything is vegan and cruelty-free.

Time: 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Where: 1515 Discovery St. 
Cost: By-donation

This 19+ night at Science World will delight both the inner child in you and your adult self. Visitors get to roam all the exhibits freely, sipping an adult-friendly beverage, as well as play with LEGOs in a hands-on exhibit.

Yes, you read that right! The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Fest officially kicks off this Friday, March 27, 2026, with the first instalment of Blossoms After Dark. The magical experience illuminates the cherry blossoms at David Lam Park, turning them into whimsical night-time blooms. You’ll also find plenty of food and drinks here to fuel your night.

The world’s most popular musical, Les Misérables, will take the Jubilee by storm starting this week. The iconic story follows Jean Valjean, a French convict, on his journey through love, life, and revolution. This one’s for big car lovers. The Vancouver Auto Show is a great opportunity to test drive some cool vehicles, explore displays, and learn more about the electric and hybrid tech that powers them.

Between Saturday, March 14 and Monday, April 6, you and your loved ones can enjoy Hoppy Heights at Capilano Suspension Bridge, which features spring break fun for the whole family to enjoy. This includes Easter-themed festivities, seasonal photo spots, and surprises around every corner.
