Brunch, views, and florals are coming to the Banff Gondola this spring

23 March 20263 Mins Read

If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to head to Banff this spring, this is it. The Banff Gondola is bringing back its Bloom and Brunch Festival, featuring scenic views, live entertainment, floral installations, and a brunch experience that’s anything but basic.

A spring experience above the clouds

Running every weekend from April through the end of May, this festival is set high above the Rockies at Sulphur Mountain, where you can take in the panoramic views while celebrating spring. From floral installations to live entertainment, the entire space is designed to feel like you’re stepping into spring.

You’ll also find live art, crafts, and even marshmallow toasting on select days, turning the experience into more than just a brunch reservation. It’s the kind of outing that feels different from your usual weekend plans.

What to expect at the Brunch

The Brunch will take place at Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen, where a buffet spread will be served with some of the best mountain views in Banff. Your experience also includes a spritz, plus some coffee, tea, and other drips to sip on while you take it all in.

There are a couple of ways to book. You can go all in with a package that includes gondola admission, or plan things separately depending on your schedule. Either way, you’ll want to book early since reservations are limited and tend to fill up fast.

Planning your visit

Bloom and Brunch runs on weekends from April 3 to May 31, 2026, with brunch seatings between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you want the full experience, try to book an earlier slot so you’re not rushed and can actually enjoy the views.

This is one of those events that will definitely get busy, so planning is your best bet! Also, don’t forget to dress for mountain weather because it can change pretty quickly when you’re up there.

If your usual brunch plans are starting to feel repetitive, this is your sign to switch things up. Bloom and Brunch brings together everything you could want in a spring outing, from stunning views to cute photo-ops. It’s an easy way to make your weekend feel a little more memorable.

Bloom and Brunch

When: Friday, April 3, to Sunday, May 31, 3026
Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
