Vincent Poulingue Appointed General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Paris

17 April 20262 Mins Read

In Brief: Vincent Poulingue has been appointed General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Paris, effective 18 May 2026, coinciding with the announcement of a property-wide renovation program.

Vincent Poulingue will assume the role of General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Paris, effective 18 May 2026. Poulingue joins the property from Hôtel du Palais Biarritz, where he currently serves as General Manager. His previous experience includes senior leadership roles at Hyatt’s The Unbound Collection, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Barrière Group in France, Portugal, Switzerland, and French Polynesia. Poulingue holds an MBA in International Hospitality Management from IMHI (Cornell University–ESSEC Business School) and will report to Philippe Kronberg, AVP Operations.

The appointment coincides with the announcement of a comprehensive renovation program at Mandarin Oriental, Paris. The transformation will include all guestrooms and suites, bathrooms, public spaces, the Spa, and all dining destinations. Renovation works are scheduled to commence at the end of October 2026 and will be executed in phases. The hotel will remain fully operational during the renovation.

The culinary offering at Mandarin Oriental, Paris will be updated to include three new concepts: a bar, a brasserie-style restaurant, and a gourmet restaurant, each overlooking the hotel’s internal garden. The design for these spaces will be led by architectural studio Humbert & Poyet.

Guestrooms, suites, and public areas will be redesigned by architect Tara Bernerd. The renovation program will be carried out in phases to allow continued operation of the hotel.
