Here’s what to know about Toronto’s star-studded FIFA Fan Festival

27 April 20263 Mins Read

We’re less than seven weeks away from the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicking off in Toronto, and a star-studded lineup of FIFA Fan Festival performers was revealed on Monday.

Excitement for the global soccer spectacle continues to soar, and the corresponding fan festival is poised to be the second-hottest ticket in town after the games themselves, especially now that the City has reversed its decision to charge admission for the event.

To coincide with the first FIFA World Cup 2026 match kicking off on June 11 in Mexico City, Toronto’s Fort York National Historic Site and The Bentway will be transformed into a lively spot where fans can connect and celebrate their love of soccer.

The FIFA Fan Festival will be a massive 22-day event with over 30 local food vendors and a ton of musical performances to entertain the crowd. You can also come and watch all 46 broadcast games here, too, if you haven’t had much luck scoring any ridiculously expensive tickets to BMO Field.

Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow was on site Monday morning, joined by Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik, the Honourable Neil Lumsden, Minister of Sport, and local hip-hop legend Kardinal Offishall, to unveil the programming highlights, which include an impressive roster of local musical acts.

Alessia Cara, Bedouin Soundclash, Big Wreck, Choir! Choir! Choir!, Deborah Cox, Dwayne Gretzky, k-os, Shawn Desman, SHOUT! the band, The Strumbellas, Tyler Shaw and Walk off the Earth are just a sliver of the acts set to take stage with “more announcements to come” before the fest wraps July 19.

Other performers and DJs include AHI, Allied Nations, Anna Sofia, The Brokes, Classic Roots, Ikky, MICO, Murda Beatz, Nimkii and the Niniis, Skratch Bastid, Snotty Nose Rez Kids and TOBi.

And because the World Cup is a global event where people from all corners come together to cheer on their favourite teams, Toronto’s Fan Festival will also showcase international traditions through artistic performances. First Nations dance group Spring Creek Dancers will put on a show alongside Japanese taiko drumming group Nagata Shach, Korean drumming group HanBeat Nanta and Mexican ensemble Ballet Folklórico de México, just to name a few.

Tickets are free and will go on sale May 6, so keep this website bookmarked for now. Each ticket will provide full-day access to match broadcasts, performances and activities.

FIFA Fan Festival runs from June 11 to July 19 at Fort York National Historic Site, located at 250 Fort York Blvd.
