Summer is finally upon us, and Canadians are locking down their travel plans.

But with international politics and a continuing hesitancy to travel to the U.S. complicating vacation plans, it can be harder than ever to figure out and plan your next destination.

To help job your vacation ideas, The Globe published its annual list of 10 hidden travel destinations, from aurora hunting in Yellowknife to settling in to cozy eco-cabins in Mauricie, Quebec.
