Kurt Schwan Named Director of Sales & Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta

The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta has appointed Kurt Schwan as Director of Sales & Marketing. Schwan returns to the hotel, where he previously held leadership roles, and will oversee sales and marketing functions.

Schwan most recently served as Director of Sales & Marketing at InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, where he led sales, catering, and conference services as a member of the Executive Committee and oversaw the property’s commercial strategy.

He began his hospitality career in Atlanta in 2000 at Hilton Atlanta and later held leadership roles with Starwood Hotels & Resorts at The Westin Buckhead, The Westin Peachtree Plaza, and W Atlanta Midtown. Schwan’s association with The Ritz-Carlton brand began in 2008, supporting both The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead and The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta.

From 2017 to 2024, Schwan served as Director of Sales at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, overseeing group, catering, and transient business.
