The U.S. hotel industry reported positive year-over-year results for the week ending June 27, 2026, according to CoStar data. National occupancy reached 72.2%, up 0.4% from the comparable week in 2025. Average daily rate (ADR) rose 9.2% to $178.82, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) increased 9.6% to $129.09.
Among the Top 25 Markets, Miami recorded the highest increases in ADR, up 51.1% to $267.87, and RevPAR, up 51.6% to $196.87, supported by three World Cup matches. Miami’s occupancy was relatively flat, rising 0.3% to 73.5%.
San Diego, host of the 2026 BIO International Convention, posted the largest occupancy gain among major markets, up 13.1% to 91.9%. San Francisco, which hosted two World Cup matches, registered the second-largest increases in occupancy, up 10.9% to 82.5%, and RevPAR, up 40.7% to $211.19.
Overall, 20 of the Top 25 Markets reported an increase in RevPAR.
