Ascott has expanded its presence in Vietnam with the signing of three new properties in Da Nang, Quy Nhon, and Ho Chi Minh City. With these agreements, Ascott reports a total of eight signings in Vietnam in June 2026, bringing its portfolio in the country to 43 properties and more than 11,300 units across operational and pipeline developments.

The Somerset Non Nuoc Da Nang Resort will be located on Non Nuoc Beach along the Truong Sa – Vo Nguyen Giap coastal corridor. The property will have access to the city center, Da Nang International Airport, and Hoi An Ancient Town, and will be surrounded by golf courses and tourism attractions along the Da Nang – Hoi An coastline. Scheduled to open in 2030, the resort will include deluxe rooms, one- to three-bedroom serviced apartments, and villas. Facilities will include all-day dining and specialty restaurants, a beach club, ballroom and meeting spaces, wellness amenities, children’s facilities, and swimming pools.

In Quy Nhon, Citadines Quy Nhon Resort will be developed as a mixed-use beachfront property, marking Ascott’s first property in the city. The project will be developed in two phases. The first phase, expected to open in 2030, will consist of 257 villas, a clubhouse, and resort facilities. The second phase, targeted for 2033, will add a 100-key hotel tower with dedicated guest facilities. Some amenities, such as the Kids’ Club and spa, will be shared across the development through the central clubhouse. Upon completion, the resort will offer accommodation, dining, wellness, and recreational facilities.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Oakwood Thao Dien Ho Chi Minh City is planned for Tran Ngoc Dien Street in the Thao Dien district. The area includes international schools, healthcare facilities, restaurants, cafés, and retail destinations, and is accessible via Metro Line 1, which connects directly to District 1. The property is targeted to open in 2029 and will feature 356 units, including studios, one- to four-bedroom residences, and penthouses. Planned facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, meeting spaces, a junior ballroom, executive lounge, fitness center, sauna, and golf simulator.
